Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By purchasing a license, downloading, installing, or using RiftPanel ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License

RiftPanel is proprietary software. Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on a single production instance. The license grants you:

  • Installation on one (1) production server
  • Access to updates for the duration of your subscription
  • Use of all features included in your plan tier

You may not:

  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Remove or modify license verification mechanisms
  • Use a single license on multiple production instances
  • Share your license key with third parties

3. Plans & Pricing

RiftPanel offers multiple plan tiers (Free, Pro, Business, Business Pro). Features are gated by plan tier. Prices are in USD and may change with 30 days notice. Active subscriptions are honored at their original price until renewal.

The Free tier is available without payment and includes basic server management features. Paid tiers unlock additional modules and capabilities.

4. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed through Stripe and/or PayPal. Subscriptions are billed monthly, semi-annually, annually, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.

Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if the Software does not function as described. Refunds are not available for:

  • Change of mind after the 14-day period
  • Issues caused by unsupported configurations
  • Third-party integrations or plugins

5. Hosting Store (End-Users)

If you use RiftPanel's built-in hosting store to sell game servers to your customers, you are the data controller and service provider for those customers. You are responsible for:

  • Providing your own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to your customers
  • Complying with applicable consumer protection laws
  • Processing refunds and handling disputes with your customers
  • Ensuring GDPR compliance for EU customers

RiftPanel provides the tools but is not a party to transactions between you and your customers.

6. Service Availability

The Software is self-hosted; uptime depends on your infrastructure. Our license verification server is maintained with best-effort availability. The Software includes a 48-hour grace period if the license server is unreachable.

7. Support

Support is provided via email ([email protected]) and Discord. Response times vary by plan tier. We do not provide support for third-party modifications, custom eggs, or infrastructure issues.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. IN NO EVENT SHALL RIFTPANEL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Software in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Spain.
